Children follow a curriculum based on the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) areas of learning and development, which lead on to the National Curriculum.
The school’s provision covers effectively the seven areas that must shape educational programmes in English early years settings, namely: communication and language; physical development; personal, social, and emotional development; literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.
The children have access to a good range of extra-curricular activities which provide opportunities for them to enhance their learning and development.
There is a particular emphasis on outdoor learning and physical and mental health.
Enrolment in the special ARACIP register of education organisations corresponding to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland system
Starting from 20.12.2022, the BEST Preschool (British Education & Sports Țiriac Preschool) is registered in the Special Register of Educational Organizations that organize and conduct, on the territory of Romania, educational activities corresponding to an educational system of another country.
Students enrolled in BEST Preschool have the benefit of recognition of their diplomas and periods of study under the same conditions as students who have studied in educational institutions using the curriculum corresponding to the International Baccalaureate (IB) education programme.
BEST Preschool is a uniquely accredited Muddy Puddle School in Romania.
The Muddy Puddle Accreditation was created in 2018. Its incredible outdoor learning methods use only natural and upcycled resources while linking to all areas of the EYFS and British Curriculum.
