BEST Preschool – a new educational concept for preschoolers, based on British curriculum, initiation in sports and forest experience
BEST Preschool (British Education & Sports Tiriac Preschool) officially launched its educational services and was inaugurated on Wednesday, 30th of June, under the coordination of Mr. Ion Tiriac and Mrs. Camelia Potec.
The kindergarten under the administration of the Tiriac Group will open its gates with summer programs starting with July, and from September 1, 2021, it will offer complete preschool services, at the highest standards, for children aged between 18 months and 6 years. The main areas of interest of BEST Preschool are: the approach of the British program, initiation in sports and forest experience.
The kindergarten is located in the northern part of the capital, on Jandarmeriei Street no. 14, sector 1, within the Baneasa forest and is placed in the vicinity of Stejarii Residential Club and Stejarii Country Club.
The unique teaching system developed by BEST Preschool includes a wide range of options in order to identify the preferences of the little ones for certain sports and to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, starting from a very young age.
BEST Preschool is also based on the British curriculum and follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage educational program promoted by our team of experts, who includes also native English speakers. The British program praises the importance of a balanced training course and the practice of English language in everyday communication.
Guided by the values of the Tiriac Group in terms of excellence and the desire to inspire children to perceive movement as a normality in daily life, the kindergarten will involve preschoolers in sports such as tennis, football, swimming, skating, basketball, karate, ballet, running, gymnastics and parkour. At the same time, the positioning of the kindergarten within the Baneasa Forest ensures favorable conditions for the development of young pupils, offering them the possibility to explore the surrounding environment and to use it as means for playing. “At BEST Preschool we are not talking about Olympic sports, but about a normal and healthy lifestyle that a child can obtain through games and sports activities. The kindergarten has a tennis court, football field, basketball court, athletics track, but also space for many other activities that will allow children to play, to choose and most importantly – to develop. Started as a physical education program designed for young children, our goal is for preschoolers to develop healthy skills that will lead them to regular and relevant physical activity in achieving high academic results, “said Ion Tiriac in the press conference.
The coordinator of the educational institution is the Swimming Olympic champion Camelia Potec, who is also the proud mother of a beautiful 2-year-old girl.
“Education means, above all, a happy and healthy child. That is why at BEST Preschool sport is not taught as a performance activity, but in the direction of using your energy for constructive and fun purposes. BEST Preschool programs aim to approach sports as a system of play and entertainment, thus guiding children to assimilate a healthy lifestyle. As a parent, I want my little girl to understand the role of sport and to enjoy practicing it. We will try to inspire this feeling to all the little ones from BEST Preschool.”, mentioned the coordinator of BEST Preschool kindergarten, Camelia Potec.
